Stealer

Several things on my blog have been stolen, by a person named 'Raghu' or 'Silverdragon'. He claims he doesn't steal anything, but after I saw direct passages stolen directly from my leveling guide and he did not give me any credit, I knew he was stealing. I even made a Pokemon mod and he posted a screenshot and didn't give me any credit then either! I mean, sure the kid is ten, but you would think that he would give me credit for making them. Instead he says stuff like: "i didnt steal nuthin!"

That's right, Raghu, I'm calling you on it.

Key Aspects of SAO [Part 2]

Alright, this is a continuation of last post in which I listed the key aspect of grinding locations in SAO, now I will try to give some more tips to newbs and noobs alike. Another key aspect to SAO is...

Typing:

Grammar - While it doesn't have to be perfect grammar goes a long way when talking to others. For instance a message like: "hi we guys go to clouds right? How?", don't think that is believable? Are you thinking "Nah, no one could actually say anything THAT stupid." well think again, bud. Anyway grammar as in, instead of 'dont' use don't. Proper contractions are good. Next comma's are useful too. "I was serious at first, but then I lol'd." See, that is proper grammar.

Spelling - "hi thr gys im jim." is not good spelling and is not easilly read. Even with grammar, spelling counts. You shoudn't have one without the other. Try to spell things properly, if you make a mistake correct it, like this:

Odin: "Hi gys"
Odin: "Guys*"

With a little asterix or something to let people know that /you/ actually know what you are typing. Plus, it makes you sound alot smarter. Consider these two sentences which one seems smarter to you?

"Hello everyone, my name is Jim. Nice to meet you."
or
"helo evry1 my name i jim."

The first one, right? So try to be decent at spelling, you don't have to learn to spell everything, but it's nice to know how to spell some words. So next time you consider typing an acronym like 'ttyl' (Talk to you later) try typing it out. A little extra time spent typing means being liked among others, less time typing means you will be looked down on because people will think you are immature and don't bother to type the whole word.

That is part two of SAO Key Aspects, keep reading.
See you in game.

It's MY cave!

Alright, it's me RectorOmnis (Odin) back again to give you some valuable tips for SAO. This stuff right now is mainly for the beginners who have just started SAO or are clueless about it. I've had some experience so I'm going to share it...so here are some key aspects of SAO. Listed in level of order.

Key Grinding Spots:
The Spawn Point - (Level 1-11) Easiest of all places to reach, you start there and you die there so it's not that hard to get to. Three beetles roam around there, but it might be hard to get a spot depending on the number of people there and time of day.
Middle O' Nowhere - (Level 1-11) Heh, it's just like it sounds, once you jump from the highest tree in SAO and land on that large branch thing there are two beetles right there for you who have decent respawn rates, but is definitely not the best grinding spot.
The Cave - (Level 11 - 25)Easiest to reach and loaded with bee's (When I say loaded I don't mean twenty I mean, 3 grouped togeather and one near the entrance.) Most people like to grind there, but if it's full don't hesitate to go to the clouds.
The Clouds - (Level 11-25)The hardest spot to reach if you want to grind for bee's, the top most layer of all the clouds is what you want it has three bee's like the cave and they have a good respawn rate. If that is taken go to the layer one below that where there are two bee's with a decent respawn rate.

The spiders have only one spot as of now so there are no good spots because...well...that is the only one. That is one of the key aspects of SAO, knowing where to grind on monsters. Well thanks for reading and good luck leveling!

Leveling Guide

Welcome SAO noobies and vet's to the Stick Adventures Online...LEVELING GUIDE. Now just before I actually start explaining how to level, I just want to say that this is a guide based on solely my experience and not an approved guide (Not that no one likes it, just that no one has ever seen it before.) Anyway lets get started, shall we?

Now I don't really know the stats of the monsters (I do, but it doesn't matter right now) First I'll briefly outline this guide, its EXTRA simple.

1-11(Beetles otherwise known as a Stink bug)
11-25(Bee's A.k.a: Pollenator)
25+ (Spiders, known as itsy bitsy's)

See? Easy, eh?
Alright lets get started shall we.

Level 1-11
Ahh, the simple life of a level 1 the most vulnerable in SAO, fortunately for you reading this guide you wont be level 1 for long. As soon as you log in SAO start killing stink bugs, you'll be able to only two hit them at first, but as you raise your strength you'll be able to one hit them. Anyways, to train your stats click the 'Train' button. Level to 11 and keep raising your strength until it is 11. Once it is 11 jump across the trees and go to the cave or up more to the clouds to start fighting bee's.
Level 11-25
Yes, no more beetles! Now comes the bee's. At first you'll three hit them (I know, stinks at first) and you wont be invincible and might die quite a bit. It is incredibly easier than stink bugs though. Ok, start grinding on bee's until level 25 and keep raising your defense stats until they are 15. Don't put anything in strength so when you are done leveling to 25 your stats should be STRENGTH: 11.....DEFENSE: 15
Level 25+
Great! Time for those spiders, alright to one hit spiders you need to get to 28 strength, daunting I know, but with time and effort I am sure you can achieve this goal. It's simple from here on out, kill the spiders (You wont die because you are invincible with your 15 defense.) until you reach level 42, which is when you should have 28 strength. From 42 and over, the rest is your decision! Good job!

See, that hard. Apply yourself and you'll be rolling with high levels soon enough!

Normal Day

Nothing much was happening on SAO, same old banning a noob, same old muting a noob who started cursing, you should know the drill by now...

I wasn't on much, personally, but I was watching HAL and got on a few times to stop Mr.Peanut from leveling. Why? You ask, well simply because I felt like it. That's how things work in the crazy world of SAO. So I only did a few nub squad tasks and I really give thanks to my Captain InvaderKED who usually runs the show while I'm gone, I really appreciate it man. If you don't know what the Anti-Noob Squadron is check out my last post right below.

IRC was decent today we talked about some anime at first with InvisibleMan (The admin of Loradon, Loradon 3.0 and SAO) commenting inbetween. Eventually the conversation became about games and we all talked for awhile and right now it is around 6:30 in the States depending where you live so no one is talking as much as they were an hour ago, besides me and Miotatsu who is teaching me to program in TI-Basic. (Offtopic I know).

That's mainly all the news for SAO, not many forum posts I guess everyone is too lazy or off doing their own thing as summer starts to slip away. Thanks for reading.

Anti-Noob Squadron

Well this is my third post so I might as well stop with the beginner stuff and say more new featuring the game. Well first, I made up an idea of an anti noob squadron to kill the noobs (new people of SAO who ask questions and stuff I said not to mention last post.) and InvaderKED (one of my best buddies on SAO) and Miotatsu (Mentioned him last post as well) immediately caught on. Today was the first day and KED was really good at commanding people and making him seem like the boss. We recruited CarlosLord, after he had proved himself well enough to join and continued to kill Helb (Kind of new, high level already. He later joined the anti noob squadron. XD)

It was a great day and we killed a lot of noobs. Hope to get to level 46 in the next week, but I have a book report to finish (Off topic, but it's really bugging me) so I'll just report and see what's going on in SAO. Thanks for reading

Generations

I was talking to my friend Miotatsu on SAO IRC earlier and he started saying stuff about the old SAO forums when I mentioned some old people that I knew back when SAO had only two monsters. We got all euphoria sick and Mio made a theory that the 4th generation, the current one, would override us if more people got to the top ten. I remember when the top ten's lowest person was like 36. Ah, but it seems so far away now.

Anyway, since this is the second post I might as well explain some things about SAO for beginners.

Number 1: Don't mention updates, alot of people who have been around are pretty tired of suggestions and just general questions about it.

Number 2: Yes, alot of things are censored in SAO, deal with it. Don't break the rules and curse then come back the next day and plead to get unmuted. Then after you don't get unmuted, do not refresh your IP the next day and spam and curse. I'm not giving you idea's, I hope.

Number 3: Yes there is only one map and a few monsters, we made due with two for a long time, in face I liked it better then. So when you try to go to the 'next map' and there isn't one and you ask about more monsters, expect to be flamed if someone who has been there for more than a few weeks is on.

Number 4: Please, seriously and I mean this...do not go to the spiders when you are level 1 - 24. I and many other higher level players consider this an annoyance when you come waltzing in and then die from the spiders. Please level up before coming there and if anything, go to the bees first...

That's all I really have for you now, I hope you learn a bit from this if you actually take the time to read the post, I assure you that you will be liked much better by the over all community.
Thanks and see you in game.

SAO Blog 1

Hello everyone,
This is my first post on the SAO Veterans blog, I converted what was once my personal blog into a full on SAO blog about Stick Adventures Online.

Stick Adventures Online, popularly known as SAO, is one of my favorite games. It is similar to Stick Online, a stick figure game that was online and as you guessed, about Stick figures. SAO currently only has three monsters, the beetle the lowest level monster, the bee and lastly the Itsy bitsy (Known as a spider or Poo.). There are no weapons in the game and only one map, it is a side project and will be updated after Loradon 3.0 (The developers main project) is completed. I am extremely tired of noobs complaining and asking about this. I could almost swear I had said it a thousand times.

This is only the first post and there is more to come, please keep reading for daily SAO noobs and tips from a SAO Veteran.
